Cobra Performing Arts offers programs that allow students to explore music, dance, movement, leadership, and performance in a supportive and energetic environment.



No prior experience is necessary for many introductory youth programs. Students receive instruction, mentorship, and opportunities to grow at their own pace.

World Famed Cobra Drumline:

Students learn percussion fundamentals, musical timing, drum rudiments, choreography, teamwork, and performance discipline.



The drumline reflects the power and excitement of HBCU-inspired percussion traditions.

Marching Cobras Marching Band:

Instrumental students receive opportunities to develop musical skills, marching technique, ensemble performance, and stage presence.



The program introduces students to the excitement of an HBCU-inspired marching band while emphasizing commitment, musicianship, and teamwork.

Queen Cobras Majorette Dance:

Our majorette dance program introduces students to performance choreography, movement, confidence, fitness, artistic expression, and HBCU-inspired dance traditions.

Royal Venom Flag Corps:

Students learn flag technique, choreography, coordination, visual performance, and teamwork while contributing to the overall presentation of the marching ensemble.

Cobra Step Team:

The step program teaches rhythm, synchronized movement, creativity, teamwork, and cultural expression through dynamic group performance.



HBCU Cheer Squad:

Participants explore cheerleading fundamentals, crowd engagement, dance, school spirit, teamwork, and confidence.

Cobra Concert Choir:

Students develop vocal technique, musical interpretation, confidence, ensemble skills, and appreciation for choral performance.

Student leadership and mentorship:

Participants may develop leadership skills through student government, peer mentorship, program ambassador roles, and community service opportunities.

Program progression:

  • Early elementary introduction: Grades 1–2, where available.
  • Jr. Cobras Marching Unit: Grades 3–5.
  • Marching Rattlers: Grades 6–8.
  • World Famed Marching Cobras: Grades 9–11.
  • GLOBASONIC and advanced career pathways: Grade 12, college students, and eligible adult performers.


Please note that the organization serves grades 1–12 overall, while availability for younger elementary students may depend on the program, location, and school partnership.
