Terrel has served as CEO since 2015 and as the Band Director of the Marching Cobras since 2007. Stowers worked as a Youth Program Director for the YMCA in Rhode Island and the Assitant Band Director for Irvington High School New Jersey, YMCA Yonkers Community Band Director and Nepperhan Community Center Band Director 1999- 2006. Stowers was recognized by New York State Senator for impacting New York City Youth and was the Keynote speaker for the "Keys to Youth Programming" in 2004. One of his numerous accomplishments has been building corporate and community sponsors and expanding the Marching Cobras in New York, Connecticut and North Carolina. Stowers is a product of Bethune Cookman College now known as Bethune Cookman University 1996-1999 and attended Hackensack High School. Stowers plans to impact many communities and bring Cobra Performing Arts,Inc to many communities nationally and internationally.
Kevin Young Program Director New York Region email@example.com Kevin Young one of Dr.Kenneth B. Clark Academy brightest Teaching Assistants has dedicated himself to educating and equipping young people with the necessary tools for success after their high schools years commence. At a young age Kevin used music to motivate himself and others. Kevin has taught dance to children of all ages and through his instruction he gives them discipline, dedication, and most of all how to have fun. During his high school years he joined a dance team and performed through out Westchester County. Kevin became a member of the staff 7 years ago as director of the Dance & Flag lines. In charge of choreography Kevin has created some challenging and amazing routines for the Cobra "Sapphire" Dancers. In addition to dance Kevin created the schools first step team "Cobras 2.0". Once again Kevin excelled in instruction and gave students another positive outlet. The Marching Cobras continue to benefit from his creativity and positive example that he is.
